1. Put them at the front & back

They will also be appealing to the people who want to attend your store, get what they need, and get out without walking through the whole place. 2. Use colours

While colours are definitely better than black and white, you need to use them strategically. For example, if your displays are mixed in with other merchandise, make them stand out by using colours that are bolder. Do not match the packaging of the items on the display perfectly to the background because you want them to stand out. For example, red, yellow, and orange are exciting and arousing whereas blues and greens have a more calming effect.

3. Keep it simple

You obviously want to draw attention to your retail displays and sell the items on them. However, putting too much effort into them will make them too busy and people will miss your message.

It can be easy to overdo it with retail displays because of all of the information relating to the items that is available. However, most times less is more. For your display, choose a focal point and only the most important message that you want to pass along to the customers.
